After the surgery was over they wheeled me back into the old room for recovery time. The doctor said that I had lost more blood than they had wanted me to so it would be a couple hours until I could go up into the postpartum rooms.

It’s been 33 hours, and I’m only 5 cm. I haven’t eaten in 24 hours, and my doctor said that she might see me in the morning, still pregnant. He better fucking come tonight.

So the ultrasound showed low fluid. Actually, it showed low fluid in one quadrant, and the rest were full of baby so they couldn’t really be sure. There was no question though, they sent me right down to labor and delivery to see about getting him out.
