Aw, He is so cute! It is true that as it gets better it gets worse at the same time. It's always something else. A few weeks ago I had it with Ryan and was just dreading when he would wake up from his nap then one night I was reading some stillbirth/early birth stories and I felt so selfish. That has helped me a lot these past few weeks. I try to concentrate on happy good things and let the bad ones slide. (TRY) I'm glad you seem to be a bit happier. It's so hard, but there are people who understand that you can vent to. Keep venting! and enjoying those good things!

That's awesome you guys would be okay with another one. On our anniversary in August I told Jared that I wanted to have... relations... with out any... protection... and he flipped out! He still refuses to allow such things. I would be okay with it, and I am sure he would, but there will never be a chance.

I remember hearing that whole explanation about how falling asleep in someone's arms and then waking up in a bed, alone, must be so unsettling and totally just smacking my forehead in shock. Like, hel LO. Of course that would suck. You have to make it so they fall asleep in their beds. Luckily with Addy she preferred to go to sleep alone, so we figured it out pretty fast, and then by the time Eli came along I had read a book. Alas, he would fall asleep okay, but then wake up at night rarin' to go and thinking it was morning time.

Oh good! A lot of those principles are the same in Babywise. It's amazing how "Duh!" those concepts are, but when you're a new parent, your brain does NOT work that well. I am glad you didn't do the CIO. It works for us now because Ryan is old enough and that is the ONLY way to do it. Hopefully with your unswaddling now, MM will be used to falling asleep peacefully on his own. I'm actually SO happy for you right now. Aren't books wonderful things? and P.S. I didn't move as you know so I REALLY want to hang out this week. Let me know which day is best for you.

This made me laugh and laugh. Look at all those white people. And Hubs, of course. I love the guy on the phone in the capacity picture.

"You won't believe where I'm calling from! ... Yes, really! ... Uh-huh...Uh-huh...Well, I've been in line for two hours...I don't know, maybe a cheeseburger? ... I know, cheeseburgers in Utah! ... The future is NOW, baby!"

Who am I kidding, if they opened a Whataburger in Atlanta I would probably camp out overnight to be first in line for a #1 with cheese. Sigh.

I definitely need a splashy Mormon gay in my life. Fax one to the 404 immediately, thanks.

Best tattoo post ever. I love being reminded of the cult tat story and the Moulin Rouge drinking game... good times. Maybe that's why we don't remember many details from those days... hee hee. But I do remember that day well, when you went to get your first one. I remember waiting and then watching you get it and even that it was sunny outside. Memories are yay!

I can't believe there was a time on this planet when that "he who shall not be named boyfriend" was around. Scary! He always comes up in many WTF stories.

Oh and I'm serious about getting a Golden Girls tattoo. Thanks for the idea... ha.

Hahaha, nice. MM looks so cute and uninterested in his little hat! Thanks for quoting me. That was truly my first thought, like "damn, there goes living past 40."

Ok, so I love In-n-out, just as any former Californian/chubby person should, but those car lines and sardine packed crowds are a little ridiculous. It's not THAT good. I don't want it going overrated. I will happily go when the crowd dies down to just a roar. I know it's always busy but, like you, I just don't do well with Utah crowds anymore.

Anywho, I love that you're friends with the FedEx and UPS guys.
